The Indian start up company Notion Ink which created quite a buzz with its revolutionary tablet Adam is now taking pre-orders for it.

Notion Ink first revealed their product around January 2010 and since then it has attracted a lot of eyeballs with its mighty features. These guys call Adam “just the beginning of that dream set in motion” and also want to challenge the norm (I am sure they will).

Adam is a very attractive and well spec’d tablet which offers a world of possibilities to its user.  You will be definitely impressed the moment you see it. This small looking thing is a beast at its specifications. Here’s a quick look:

Adam has been priced competitively with its basic LCD + WiFi version for just $375 + $50(shipping charges) which is a lot less than basic version of Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab. The price of Pixel Qi LCD +Wifi+3G is $549 and it is already sold out (as of 10/11/2010). They initially had some issues with Pre-Order but now it looks fine. As a whole Adam looks a promising deal but be sure to check their terms and conditions as some guys at a blog are raising doubts over it.
